Dip. Homoeopathy, Dip. Remedial Therapies,
BTeach (Adult Education), MDEd
Karen was President of the
Australian Naturopathic Practitioners Association
(ANPA) from
2002 to 2007. She is currently serving as ANPA representative
to the Federation of Natural and Traditional Therapists (FNTT).
She has lectured in Naturopathy at various training institutions for
the past 18 years and serves on consultative committees for
complementary medicine nationally. In 2003 she was appointed as the
first lecturer in Naturopathy at the University of South Australia
and later continued there in a research role. Karen writes
regular complementary health columns for National Pharmacies
magazine, has previously written columns for The Advertiser and is
‘resident naturopath’ for radio 5RPH. In January 2008 was appointed
to the Therapeutic Goods Administration's Complementary Medicines
Evaluation Committee (CMEC).
Karen has been in private practice as a Naturopath for almost 20
years. She practices a combination of herbal medicine, nutritional
medicine and homoeopathy as well as incorporating diet and lifestyle
advice to achieve optimal health results. Karen’s approach to
naturopathy involves treating each person as an individual, so she
incorporates thorough case-taking and individual assessment into her
treatment plans. She also believes that it is important to
involve the person in decision making processes, and that people
should have an informed involvement in their own treatment.

Luke Whelan
BHSc (Acup)
Luke is an acupuncturist and bowen / massage therapist with 9 years
experience in the natural health industry. His acupuncture training
took place in Melbourne at the Australian College of Natural
Medicine and at the Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medical University
in Nanning, China. He loves using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
and wants to share the health benefits with you.
Luke’s main aim is to treat you like a person, not a set of signs
and symptoms. So even if you came in for a sore lower back, he would
look for an underlying cause and treat that, not just the lower
back.

NLP
Life Coach
 |
|
Dr Dorota Pomagalska, PhD
B.Soc.Sc. (Hons, Psych)
Master Practitioner NLP
Dorota combines her experience as a coach and counsellor with her
training as a research psychologist. More recently, she has become a
Master Coach of Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP). NLP provided her
with many effective tools for coaching that she uses daily in her
practice with amazing results.
Fifteen years of psychological training and experience have provided
Dorota with a thorough understanding of the mechanics of human
cognition and behaviour. She believes that positive change is much
easier to achieve than is commonly believed. It takes just a couple
of sessions to witness dramatic shifts in people. Her clients
quickly learn to access resourceful states, habits and beliefs in
order to create a happier and healthier life. Through understanding
their thought patterns, life narratives and emotional biases,
clients gain a clear sense of direction and control.
Dorota, like many other counsellors and therapists, has been
attracted to coaching because it gives her an opportunity to work
with individuals who genuinely want to access their fullest
potential and who want to live a life of happiness and fulfilment.
Most clients she sees are already successful in many areas of their
lives. They may, however, strive for a greater balance in their life
or seek greater ability to adapt to change in a positive and
constructive way.
Because of her dedication to excellence in coaching, Dorota is
confident that all clients working with her will quickly achieve
positive outcomes – provided they genuinely seek improvement. |
